Nike debuts Air Max 1's dedicated to Toronto's 6 Boroughs

Nike has just released the Air Max 1's "The 6" show dedicated to the cities 6 boroughs - Etobicoke, North York, East York, York, Scarborough & Toronto - to pay homage to the cities cultural renaissance that spans music, sports & entertainment.

Designed by Canadian Erin Cochrane, the sneakers have a white sole, black coated-leather body, waxed laces, and are packed with references to Toronto. The tongues feature a red maple leaf on the outside and the cities slogans "The 6" and "T.O" on the inside right and left feet respectively. There's also a compass on the heels which points north and the CN tower on the soles sits mystically in front of the northern lights background. We live in the most exciting era of Toronto history so its great to be able to commemorate this moment in time and have our very own sneakers to show our cities pride.

They can be purchased in Toronto at Community 54, Livestock, Haven, Ateaze, Exclucity and Lost and Found. Support your local retailers.
